Support

The Chart recognizes the important work that writers and thinkers do to support artist communities through deep consideration of artists and their work and the current and historical perspectives that shape our understandings of the world we live in. The Chart supports both critical artistic dialogue and those who make it possible. We pay contributors and strive to follow W.A.G.E. recommendations for artistic wages, a system that works to construct a fair-pay baseline for creative work, as often as possible.

To this end, The Chart is accepting donations to keep our journal not only free and accessible to the public, but to actively support the creation of new work by supporting the artists and writers who add meaning and value to our culture. A donation to The Chart is tax-deductible where applicable and goes directly to paying writers and artists for their labor.

You can submit donations online here. If you would like to mail a check, please contact jenna@thechart.me for instructions and mailing address.

The Chart is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of The Chart must be made payable to Fractured Atlas only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
